We have observed assistant coaches worldwide using sheets of paper to jot down game statistics for their teams while sitting beside the coach. Subsequently, these same assistant coaches have to spend an hour, or more, compiling the scribbled data into a Box Score for further analysis. Basketball Stats PRO Lite app for iPad eliminates the need for paper and the arduous process of compiling stats by delivering an easy-to-use stats tracker. This tracker allows coaches, assistant coaches, scouts, parents, or basketball enthusiasts to track their team's statistics directly from their iPad.

All inputted stats are instantly compiled, providing an up-to-date overview of your team's current statistics. This feature allows coaching staff to access and analyze the stats at any given time during or after the game. Inputting stats is a simple process as there are buttons representing each player in the roster and all the stat categories. By tapping on a player and the corresponding stat, it is automatically added to the game. For two and three-point shots (made or missed), you can also tap on the specific location on the court where the shot was taken. The complete Box Score can be viewed with just one tap, and it can be sent via email to anyone around the world.

All inputted statistics are stored in a local database, eliminating the need for an internet connection. Therefore, you can access a player's stats not just for one game but for all games they have participated in. The statistics view for each player provides individual box scores for each game, as well as compiled total and average stats. You can even track a player's shot distribution based on where they were taken on the court (inside the paint, mid-range, three-point shots from the corner, and other three-point shots). It becomes evident that this stats app greatly assists with efficient stats input and post-game analysis.

Additionally, the app features a Sketch Board where you can draw plays using four different colors and pens. These sketches can be saved and later viewed or sent via email.
